| So its been a while since I updated as Anuja repeatedly keeps reminding me. Well, Ramadan ended a couple of weeks ago! It was great, I think we had an "eating" party every Saturday right after the sun went down so we could eat every kind of junk food you could possibly imagine... ...it was great fun! I also finally finished all my stuff for Governor's school!!! Those essays were cruddy and my Guidance Couselor gave us the application a few days before it was due....but it all turned out okay (I learned that we were the only ppl required to do an interview, which was probably the worst part). I also learned today, after I ran with Amy, that I am incredibly out of shape and dont eat good food for running...judging from the fact that my legs hurt and I ate ice cream and cookies for lunch! Well, I need to finish that dumb 6 page paper for my wonderful english teacher ---Nida

| I have Poison Ivy to deal with and I just got over the flu. Yeah u can stop reading now b/c their is no point.....unless u want to be bored to death by a story from a life u really don't care about (plus I am NOT a good story-teller). So actually I have decided to save u the torment- this is the summarized version-: I got poison ivy and it won't go away, school is getting annoying, and i've never met a group who has more drama than desi ppl until this year. But Ive learned (partially thanks to SVSM) that their are ppl w/ brains just the majority dont live here! Oh yeah, I got a letter yesterday which was really neat, and I drove by myself finally!!! Also, my little sister told me a joke which I would like to share- What kind of rabbit likes insects???? give up....Bugs Bunny! She made it herself or read it off a popsicle, either way I hope it made u happy!Overall, it's been another great day | | |
| Okay, well Anuja wanted me to update this thing so I am. Like everyone else, school has started and it stinks because I have harder classes than most ppl, i dont know why I signed up for them b/c my brain is already cramped with unnecessary information. Anyway, Labor day weekend was great! I went to an engagement in New Jersey and got dressed up and what not, kinda like at that "formal dinner/dance" thingy at SVSM. Then we went to NYC, which was also very neat! I toured around on a boat and this double decker bus in which I stood up and almost hit my head on the signal light. I went to the broadway production for "Beauty and the Beast" with my sisters and it was too good especially since we had great seats, and I recommend it to anyone. I also had coffee form Starbucks and rode the subway. Shopping was a must of course and so was the 9 hour ride back home. Like most normal people I fell asleep at 12:30 am so I would have a good 5.5 hours of sleep for school, which is why today I am still sleep deficient and living off of caffeine and chocolate to get me through the week. Well, I dont want this to get really long like a certain someone's xanga *no names* usually is ! Oh yeah, XC is horrible dont do it....unless u LIKE to run! Have a wonderful day! -Nida | | |
| Well....im back from Wilmington, although I do miss everyone from 'nerd camp'. It was really neat and I actually gave a presentation at the end which wasn't horrible. Now im really bored and even though I went to class for 6 hrs a day there I still dont feel like doing my summer homework. However, I have finally finished Harry Potter (which was great) and might actually begin that 'summer reading list' (yeah right!). Oh yeah, like I said before....I suck at keeping up w/ this xanga mess....well, "until we meet again"! | | |
| Well I am not very good at keeping a xanga but since enveryone has been calling me a punk for not writing anything I've decided to actually post something. The dinner/dance was last night and I ate an entire meal w/ Mr.Bill and other ppl using"proper etiquette". The dance was afterward....it was fun, I never thought i'd see a better dancer than Dr. Lugo's son on meringue night but Mr. Bill's little boy (idk how old he is but he's little) danced better than anyone I had ever seen. ......Today we're going to an aquarium then the talent show is later tonight. I'm excited, I can't wait to see the 'Indian dance'.......hehehe. The only thing that I am not looking forward to is making the stupid powerpoint for my stupid project today....oh well....I can pretend it got erased or something. | | |
